Absorptive type mufflers offer high sound reduction over a broad mid to high frequency range. These mufflers feature a straight though design so as to minimise back pressure.

 

Available in standard construction and high temperature option for uses such as engine exhausts. Available to suit pipe sizes from 50NB upwards.

These are resonant type mufflers. We have a standard range available or we can design a muffler to suit the particular application. These mufflers can be configured to provide high attenuation at low to mid frequencies.

 

Typical uses are engine exhausts, compressors and blowers. These mufflers are particularly suitable for applications such as food processes where porous infill materials are not permitted.

Blower mufflers are a combination of a reactive muffler and absorptive muffler in one package. These offer high sound reduction over a very broad frequency range and are specifically design for blower inlets and outlets.

Pressure vessel blow downs, steam discharges to atmosphere and the like can generate high sound levels. The vent silencer range is specifically designed to deal with these sources.

 

The silencer combines a blast chamber to slow the discharge and a concentric absorptive section. Both these elements provide sound attenuation.

These silencers are designed specifically for the dairy industry. These are large in size and incorporate features such as ‘high spec’ access doors, hygienically sealed infill to meet MAF requirements and removable internals to allow easy cleaning. This is a design that has matured though years of supplying silencers to the dairy industry.

Range of cylindrical silencers that provide sound reduction and airflow. These are ideally suited to circular duct or used in conjunction with axial type fans. High performance type (HP) and low pressure (LP) types are available.

 

Both the HP and LP ranges are available with a hygienic/weather-resistant lining.

Acoustic louvres allow air in or out of and opening in the building façade while providing weather protection and sound attenuation.

 

These louvres are available with a powdercoated finish to match the building.
